Class Descriptions:
Yoga--Yoga Intro, Level 1 Yoga, and Core and Restore
Yoga consists of a series of movements that help strengthen the body and increase mental vitality. These classes will help you develop your practice. Please come 5 minutes early to class and inform us if you are new or if you have injuries or health concerns such as pregnancy.
Tri-Yoga
Our three favorite elements of yoga in one class! 1) sun salutations 2) alignment 3) core fitness
This is a great class for those new to yoga or those wanting to learn the alignment of poses. Fun and inviting elements of the class are wall yoga, discussions, prop usage, and deep stretching.
Stress Relief Yoga
Stress relief on your mat. This class will focus on gentle stretches and a longer meditation. While this is not an athletic class, it does offer many health benefits by simply unwinding the tension from the body. Since 99% of all illnesses arise from stress, this class offers a healthy opportunity to reconnect with your ability to decompress and experience relaxation. Bliss.
Awakening Power Yoga
Have you been to a few Level 1 classes and now you're ready for more? This is a great intermediate class for you. Begin to learn the fundamentals of Power Yoga sun salutations. This yoga class brings an element of fitness to your practice while still bringing stress relief and balnce to the mind.
Gentle Yoga
This is a great class for those who want or need a gentler Yoga class as a beginning step to yoga. Seniors, those with special joint needs, firbermyraglia, MS, or other possible reasons for wanting to participate in a Gentle Yoga class are all welcome. You’ll learn the basics using blocks, straps and the wall. Learn breathing techniques and stress relief, too!
Infusion
Innovation at its best. This class combines the best of Power Yoga and Pilates. A full body workout that will challenge your strength, flatten your abs and nourish your soul. This class will cleanse your body while clearing your mind and restoring your spirit.
Pilates
The "other" mat. A non-impact approach to exercise. We use balls, rings and bands to work our "core" fitness level. Research shows strong abs equal more muscle and less belly fat. Flatten your belly while giving your body variety and serenity. All levels welcome as we show many modifications and challenges.
Studio Sculpt/ Pilates Sculpt
This class has a limit of 20 people due to equipment use. Mindful weight lifting comes to the studio! With an emphasis on alignment and lengthening, we use a weighted body bar to create strength and power. A non-intimidating environment with background music and some pilates moves integrated into the class.
Zumba
Fuses hypnotic Latin rhythms to easy to follow moves to create a dynamic workout system that will blow you away. Have a blast while getting fit and having fun. No partner or experience neccessary.
Family Yoga
This is a great opportunity to explore yoga together! 2+ family members ages 7 and up learn to let go of stress, feel relaxed and bonded. Sisters, spouses and brothers are encourage to create a meaningful connection through yoga poses.
